I woke up Christmas Eve morning to - believe it or not - more snow. That seems to be the only thing the weather does around here lately. Oh, and some freezing rain. Can't forget about the freezing rain. Which makes the snow on your driveway very heavy and very slick. As soon as Daddy got home from work, we all went outside to clear the driveway. The snow was still falling and the driveway was covered again before we finished, but at least it won't be as heavy to clear off later. Here's little miss "no mitt!" and her shovel. Mittens are the enemy; she can't hold her shovel when she's wearing them.

You can see how deep the snow on our sidewalk is, and it's still coming down.

This is quite possibly my favorite picture that I've taken of Sydney.

When snowflakes the size of snowballs are falling, you have to teach the one-year-old how to catch snowflakes on her tongue.

Last year we took Sydney sledding through the front yard. Right now, the snow is knee-high in the front yard, so she had to settle for sledding on our newly cleared driveway (yes, this much snow came down while we were shoveling).

More snowflake catching. This is fun!

I hope you can see the size of these snowflakes in this picture. It was hard to get a picture of them, and they were gigantic! I felt like we were playing in a snow globe.

One last plea to Santa to bring presents:

How could Santa say no to a smile like that???
