After the excitement of the carnival Friday, we couldn't let Miss Sydney down on Saturday, so we took her to see her first parade. Crystal Lake put on a really great parade. I've lived here for 4 years now and I've never been to their parade. I was impressed. They had marching bands and drum corps from Crystal Lake and as far away as Chicago. It held Sydney's attention for 2 hours! We met my friend Jen and her son Trey. We tried to let the kids play, but they were more interested in watching the parade.
