Grandma Barb and Grandpa Glenn came over this morning and gave Sydney even more presents.
I think Sydney still wants to be a baby: she cuddled up with her new baby doll's blanket and sucked on the bottle.
And then she was back in the doll's carrier again.
We took her to Chuck E. Cheese's for lunch. She's been here a couple times with her daycare provider (and the little stinker even knows where the restaurant is located - she pointed it out to us on the way there). She was the Birthday Star, and Sydney and Mommy got matching stickers when we came in.
She's not big enough to play games yet, but there's plenty of rides for her to enjoy. The first one I took her on was a roller coaster. She wasn't too sure about it; we'll have to work on that. She has lots of real roller coasters in her future!

The Barney ride was more her speed.

Chuck E. Cheese brought out a cake for Sydney. She was very excited about the star confetti and was very specific about the colors she ate and the order she ate them in.

Sydney was a little scared of the big mouse at first, but then he smiled and waved at her and she said, "Hi Chucky Cheeses." And then gave him a high five.

Her favorite ride by far was the carousel. She must have ridden it 20 times. A little boy came over and her if she wanted to ride again. She told him yes and he put a token in for her to ride again. How sweet is that?

I think I have several pictures of my mom wearing this same expression... As my dad would say, she comes by it honestly.

While Sydney took her nap, Mommy and Daddy put together her gift from Grandma Barb and Grandpa Glenn - a new trike. Or as Sydney calls it, "My bike! My bike!"

It's a much fun to push as it is to ride!

Sydney's favorite part about our backyard is her swing. She was very amused having her parents and all her grandparents standing around watching her swing, and she decided that everyone needed to take turns pushing her.
Sydney caught a glimpse of our neighbor's dog, Coby, so we needed to go play. She remembered drinking out of their hose when we were over there before, and today Mommy let her get wet. Check out the great stop-action water droplets!
