Jump Zone!

Daddy and I took Sydney to a birthday party this afternoon for Daddy's cousin's son (Sydney's 3rd cousin maybe?) who just turned 5. The party was held at a place called Jump Zone, which has all kinds of inflatable jumping rooms and slides. It took place right in the middle of Sydney's nap time, but once she saw the jumping rooms, she forgot all about her nap.

The first one we went into was a giant gumball machine.

From the gumball machine we headed over to Sesame Street.

Sydney's other cousin goes down the little Sesame Street slide. I send Sydney down this one a couple times as a starter - Mommy had plans of going down the bigger slides!

On to the princess castle - Sydney's first big slide.

My brave little peanut didn't want to go down her first big slide with Mommy - she wanted to do it herself. I had to hold her at the top so Daddy could get the camera ready.

Sydney's cousin isn't ready to go down the slide by herself yet (believe it or not, she's only 19 months) so she rode down with me.

The circus inflatable had three separate slides. Sydney did slide down all three.

The slides kept getting bigger. Next up was the firetruck slide. Sydney's light enough that she didn't always go down feet-first - sometimes she got a little turned around.

The same thing happened on the Batman slide.

Mommy shows Sydney where we live; for some unknown reason Sydney is more interested in Nebraska.

Even though Sydney is three months older than her cousin, she's considerably smaller (which seems to be a common thing with the peanutiest girl).

The babies help sing "Happy Birthday."

It wouldn't be a party without cake! The birthday boy blows out his candles.

Sydney was so exhausted by the end of the party she actually laid down on the floor in the party room. We thought she'd be asleep in the car before we got out of the parking lot, but she stayed awake for the entire hour ride home and didn't go to sleep until her normal bedtime. We couldn't believe it.
